WEBINAR: Geothermal at Scale: From Heat to Returns with Ghazal Izadi, COO at XGS Energy
11 AM CT | Feb. 25, 2026

Liftoff with WING, Women in Geothermal

As global demand for 24/7 clean energy accelerates, geothermal is emerging as one of the only truly scalable, bankable baseload solutions. With next-generation technologies, faster development cycles, and repeatable project models, geothermal is transitioning from a niche resource into a multi-gigawatt investment platform. This session explores how advanced geothermal systems are reshaping the economics and risk profile of clean power, what makes geothermal increasingly attractive to long-term investors, and how the sector is unlocking reliable, carbon-free returns at scale.

Dr. Ghazal Izadi is the Chief Operating Officer at XGS Energy, where she leads global operations, technology strategy, and the commercial scaling of the company’s breakthrough geothermal power solutions.
