Subsurface Energy to Power focuses on how to solve our looming energy / electricity needs (data centers, communities) by focusing on subsurface resources that can be quickly harnessed for power generation. Natural gas, geothermal, hydrogen, and lithium are key. We explore new solutions including micro-grids, data centers, electricity co-op tie-ins, and bit-coin mining to avoid waiting on long-distance transmission lines, pipelines, or other slow and costly infrastructure.

The goal is to bring together engineers, scientists and managers involved in geothermal reservoir studies and developments; provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the exploration, development and use of geothermal resources; and to enable prompt and open reporting of progress.

For 2026, GEOLAC heads to Mexico City, co-hosted by the World Bank and ESMAP. The event will gather 250+ leaders to advance the deployment of geothermal region-wide.

The Mexican government recently announced that the international private sector can participate in national geothermal development, opening the door to new partnerships and investment.

The Arctic Energy & Resource Symposium is where leaders across energy, infrastructure, and Indigenous communities converge to shape the future of Arctic resource development.

This event offers attendees a unique opportunity to:

Geothermal Rising (GR) is once again hosting the Technical Symposium focused on the mutual problems and solutions in the field of Geothermal and Oil & Gas drilling, completions and long-term production.
