Calgary company's drilling technology is aimed at reaching depths of approximately 15 kilometres, improving the economics of geothermal. The approximately $83-million effort is dubbed Eavor-Jules, named after the French science-fiction novelist Jules Verne who authored Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
Rodatherm partners with Fulcrum Point for closed-loop geothermal pilot in Utah
Rodatherm Energy Corporation (Rodatherm) and Fulcrum Point Holdings (Fulcrum Point) have announced a memorandum of understanding to explore the development of next-generation geothermal energy projects in Utah. In 2025, the company announced the closing of a USD 38 million Series A funding round. It is also the recipient of an $8 million grant from Emissions Reduction Alberta.
