GRAHAM Avenue could become the site of a geothermal system that lets multiple buildings share green heating options. A new proposal calls for the city to accept grants for a $400,000 feasibility study on a geothermal district energy system for Graham Avenue.

Net Zero Atlantic, in collaboration with the New Brunswick Climate Change Secretariat and with support from the New Brunswick Climate Change Fund, is seeking a consultant to carry out an assessment of New Brunswick's geothermal resource potential using available geological and subsurface data and providing deliverables that will inform a comprehensive report.
