A team of scientists are planning to construct a comprehensive 3D subsurface model of the geothermal resource underneath this British Columbia volcano to aid in identifying geothermal drilling targets.

The Geothermal Resource Development Act has been issued by the Alberta Energy Regulator, effective August 15, 2022. These rules set out the requirements and processes that industry must follow throughout the entire life cycle of a geothermal development.
