Alberta Releases Geothermal Resource Development Rules and Directive 089

The Geothermal Resource Development Act has been issued by the Alberta Energy Regulator, effective August 15, 2022. These rules set out the requirements and processes that industry must follow throughout the entire life cycle of a geothermal development.
